Each piece was meticulously hard carved from timber over many weeks and then metal coated in a fine layer of iron and oxide until each piece was finished and completely unique. These highly intricate pieces were designed in house by our graphic’s team, they were then worked up by our highly talented sculptors in resin and stone for a natural finish. NORWEGIAN CRUISE LINE | CRUISE SHIP - Each piece in this set of over twenty-two large wall reliefs are hand carved from timber. Our master sculptor took over three months to complete the set and each one is individual and unique. Inspiration was taken from exotic flowers and leaves, each design drawn up meticulously prior to being carved by a time served master carver. The final layers of metal coating were added, real bronze powder which gives the pieces a beautiful metallic sheen but also means they are cold to the touch just like solid bronze but without the weight that is often a consideration at sea. THE VIPER ROOMS | KINGSTON UPON THAMES - Over three hundred hours of hand-drawn art went into the hundreds of square metres of bespoke wallpaper we created for Viper Rooms, London. We wallpapered the walls and ceilings throughout most of the club for a full immersive clubbing experience. Our team regularly create bespoke wallpaper in many styles and genres, but this has been our largest to date. BOUNCE | LONDON - TL was approached to create a set of reproduction artworks in swept frames but with an anarchic twist. Each picture was graffitied by our in-house artists, an irreverent treatment of historical portraits that changed them from traditional and safe into entertaining pieces. UV paint was added so that night-time audiences had an added layer of fun when the lights went down. RICHMOND HILL HOTEL | LONDON - Every hotel room of the Richmond, London was given a set of classically framed pen and ink sketches of local historical landmarks. Beautiful and detailed pieces of art that really accentuate the elegance and fine qualities of these rooms and the historical views. MR MIYAGI NIGHTCLUB | PORTSMOUTH - Occasionally a project comes along that appeals to every part of your love of kitsch and this was it. Hand drawn cartoon strip wallpaper based on the much-loved film of the same name to adorn the walls and ceiling, bespoke sculptural origami flying birds in cages suspended above the dance floor, lucky cats and a giant bespoke life-size painted Panda were all created in-house for this nightclub project. THE KINGS REACH | MCMULLEN - This public house and restaurant for McMullens Brewery was a really lovely project to be involved with. TL provided biophilic floral panels, artificial planting, framed art and displays for shelving throughout. Our framed art was all solidly researched local history, using vintage photography and etchings which really brought a sense of storytelling to the décor. We are well versed in bringing fresh and exciting ideas to established brands and Ibis Plaza is a great example of how we can accomplish that. We sourced licenced photography that was in keeping with the style of Ibis and presented it in hand-made float frames for a clean, crisp and modern finish. EDEN | MANCHESTER - Instagram opportunities have become a current trend and phenomena. When our clients are looking for ways to maximise their exposure on social media platforms, having unique positions within their venues that allow customers to interact, take photographs and add venue relevant hashtags are great touch points that provide that. This swing was designed to be a fun feature outside the cloak room and our bespoke biophilic inspired chalk wallpaper provided the perfect backdrop to our metal fabricated swing seat. MR MIYAGI NIGHTCLUB | PORTSMOUTH - We often bring in teams of on-site artists to provide mural and graffiti skills for clients working directly to their walls. This gives clients a way of introducing more urban or artist led pieces on a larger scale. Sometimes digital wall art is the way to go and sometimes this more hand painted approach gives a more on brand look and feel. We know it can be daunting to work with an artist, we know clients feel nervous about giving the work free reign. We provide detailed sketches prior to work being carried out and our clients sign off colour samples and small scale works prior to the art going ahead for complete peace of mind. We guided them through the process of engaging urban, creating detailed illustrated presentations of the artwork before any spray paint cans were even picked up. HOTEL INDIGO | MANCHESTER - There were over 80 bedrooms decorated with a nod to Manchester’s print and newspaper history. We were asked to provide options for how the artwork could look in these rooms and after much research we settled on this concept. We selected a paper that had been created by one of the founders of GF Smith, a man born in Manchester. We looked at famous literary and spoken quotes about Manchester and we used a variety of printing, die cutting, foiling and debossing techniques to turn them into small works of art. Displayed in our bespoke acrylic wall cases with hidden fixings they make a stunning feature and feature heavily on customer Instagram posts. L ATELIER BISTRO | MSC CRUISE SHIP - Our collection of hand drawn Parisian street scene sketches, vintage French photography and antique Absinthe adverts make for really beautiful eclectic arrangements on the restaurant walls of on board the MSC ship Grandiosa. Individually framed in slim and traditional mouldings, mounted and finished to the highest standard. To help set the scene for a more authentic dining experience we also sourced absinthe fountains, beautiful vintage blue glass siphons and a range of 17th-19th century antiques including a Bronze nude which is the key feature on arrival. Full of marble, columns and grandeur, it was a challenge to ensure that the eighty pieces of carefully framed art and seventy-five sculpture’s and display pieces that we curated worked with the existing décor. The items we chose were very much design led and of the calibre that suited the room. MAJESTIC HOTEL | HARROGATE - The grandeur and history of the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate really leant itself to creating big statements with the framed portraiture and oversized floral arrangements. It’s always fun to work at scale and the enormous restaurant space needed careful consideration to ensure we got the sizes of the décor just right. Swept frames and highly decorative gilt mouldings add the correct historical notes to the scheme, sections of the wall mouldings were cladded in our antique silvered mirror to add warmth and texture to large open spaces and collections of botanical studies offered really interesting arrangements at each cover location. ABBEY HOTEL | BATH - TL produced these unique and stunning tables as abstract pieces of art for the Abbey Hotel in Bath. Built up with layers of colour, a mixture of brush stroke styles and added texture for that truly hand painted look and then sealed so they are as practical as they are beautiful. THE GRAND HOTEL | YORK - TL Contracts provided glassware for shelving and artwork in bespoke metal frames.IBIS HOTEL | HOUNSLOW - Our 10M bespoke wallpaper covers nearly a quarter of the impressive reception space at Ibis near Heathrow airport. A nostalgic piece with a vintage Art deco look and feel. HOTEL INDIGO | MANCHESTER - At over 1.5 metres wide, these weaving looms were created by a small team of art students over the summer break in our workshop, brought in specially to help us get through the forty thousand metres of leather cord that it took to complete all 75 rooms. These were a mammoth task, manufactured over three months. The results were spectacular, and we loved the reference to Manchester, the invention of the loom and the industrial revolution. Our metal fabricated frames were laser cut with 600 precision holes designed to create the four unique patterns we used over the 70 frames. ABBEY HOTEL | BATH - Our artist sketched four important and visually interesting buildings in Bath in pen and ink. These were then framed in contemporary slim black frames with hand painted abstract mounts. All created in-house by our talented team.
